Is-sinjal għal FORMULA UNO għandu żewġ partijiet. L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għall-ittra F, bil-werrej igħatti s-saba’ l-kbir, bis-swaba’ l-oħra maħruġin ’il barra u bil-pala tħares ’il barra. Imbagħad, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Jimxu ’l quddiem b’werrej minnhom jiġri ftit iktar ’il quddiem mill-ieħor.
The sign for FORMULA UNO has two parts. First, the sign for the letter F is made, with the index finger covering the thumb, the three other fingers extended and the palm facing outwards. Then, the hands take the shape of 1 with palm facing downwards. They move forward with one of the index fingers a little further forward than the other.
